Introducing mcp2p: AI-Native Payments for LATAM

Today we're launching mcp2p — a licensed middleware SDK that bridges the gap between AI assistants and real payment infrastructure across Latin America.

The Problem

AI assistants are increasingly capable of understanding complex financial instructions, but they have no way to execute actual bank transfers. Banks in LATAM operate on diverse payment rails — SPEI in Mexico, PSE in Colombia, PIX in Brazil — each with unique validation rules and regulatory requirements.

Our Approach

mcp2p uses the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to expose standardized payment tools that AI assistants discover automatically. When a user asks Claude to “send 500 MXN via SPEI,” the AI finds the right tool, validates the CLABE number, initiates 2FA directly in the conversation, and executes the transfer — all through a licensed, audited pipeline.

Key Features

  • Multi-rail support: SPEI, PSE, and PIX with standardized tool interfaces
  • Conversational 2FA: SMS verification embedded in the AI conversation flow
  • 4-gate licensing: Build-time, runtime, entitlement, and usage gates for enterprise control
  • Developer dashboard: License management, usage analytics, and audit logs

What's Next

We're onboarding early design partners in Mexico and Colombia. If your bank wants to give AI assistants the ability to move money safely, we'd love to talk.
